Description
In a rare event on the night of the Winter Solstice 2020, Saturn and Jupiter came together for the "Great Conjunction." The last time they were this close (a tenth of a degree) and visible in the night sky was nearly 800 years ago. As a special bonus, a vibrant trailing meteor darted across the frame during capture.
